Legal
Acceptable use policy
What you may and may not do with CodeMorph and this website.
Last updated 11 October 2026
Beta draft, pending legal review. This document describes how CodeMorph works today in plain language. It will be reviewed by counsel before general availability.
This policy applies to the CodeMorph desktop app, this website and any service we provide. It is part of our terms of use.
Use CodeMorph for
Writing, migrating, reviewing and maintaining software, including commercial software, on code you own or have the right to work on.
Don't use CodeMorph to
- Break the law or help anyone else break it.
- Work on code you have no right to modify, or remove license notices, copyright headers or attribution from code you don't own.
- Build or deliver malware, including code designed to gain unauthorized access, disrupt systems or harvest data without consent.
- Abuse model providers. Follow the usage policies of any provider you configure, such as Anthropic, including their rules on prohibited content.
- Interfere with this website: no scraping at a rate that degrades it, no attempts to bypass rate limits or forms' abuse protection, no automated submissions.
- Misrepresent builds. Don't distribute modified versions of CodeMorph as official releases, or use the CodeMorph name and logo in a way that suggests endorsement. See the brand guidelines.
Examples
These are fine:
- Migrating your company's codebase with a model provider your company approves.
- Migrating an open-source project you contribute to, under its license.
- Writing a blog post or video about CodeMorph following our brand guidelines.
These are not:
- Sending a client's proprietary code to a model provider your contract forbids.
- Using CodeMorph to strip license headers from someone else's code.
- Automating hundreds of form submissions to this website.
Security research
Good-faith security research is welcome. Follow the disclosure process on our security page.
