Pre-release
Day one
The CodeMorph editor repository is created as a small patch set on top of Code - OSS 1.141.0, with CI building a Windows installer.
CodeMorph started as a deliberate architectural choice: don't fork a multi-gigabyte editor.
The repository holds a pinned upstream version of Code - OSS, a set of branding files and a short list of named patches. A build script clones the upstream release, applies the branding and patches, and produces CodeMorph. Tracking a new upstream release means rebasing a few small patches, not reviewing a giant merge. It's the same approach VSCodium uses, for the same reasons.
- Scaffolded the patch-set build on Code - OSS 1.141.0.
- Added the CodeMorph icon set, generated to every size from two source files.
- Set up CI to build a Windows installer on every version tag.
- Pinned line endings and toolchain versions so builds are reproducible across machines.
