Updating

The beta doesn't update itself yet. When a new version is announced in the changelog, download the new installer and run it.

It installs over the existing version and keeps your settings, keybindings and extensions. Close CodeMorph first.

Uninstalling

Open Settings, then Apps, then Installed apps. Find CodeMorph and choose Uninstall. For the portable build, delete its folder.

To remove every trace, also delete your settings in %APPDATA%\\CodeMorph and your extensions in %USERPROFILE%\\.codemorph.

For IT teams

The Windows installers are built with Inno Setup and accept its standard command-line switches for unattended installs, such as:

Command prompt
CodeMorphSetup.exe /VERYSILENT /NORESTART

Download questions

Is CodeMorph really free?
Yes, during the beta. No account and no card. Model usage for conversion and Ask is billed by your own provider.
Why does Windows warn me about the installer?
Beta installers aren't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen shows a warning the first time. Click More info, check the name reads CodeMorph, then Run anyway.
Can I install CodeMorph next to my current editor?
Yes. CodeMorph uses its own name, settings folder and extensions folder, so it never interferes with other editors.
Does it work on Windows on ARM?
Not in the beta. The Windows build is x64 only.
When are macOS and Linux coming?
They're planned after the Windows beta stabilizes. Follow the waitlist above and you'll hear the day yours is ready.
Do I need Node.js installed?
Not to edit or run Scan & Plan. Run & Verify runs your own typecheck, tests and build, so it needs whatever your project needs, usually Node.js and installed dependencies.
