Beta draft, pending legal review. This document describes how CodeMorph works today in plain language. It will be reviewed by counsel before general availability. This page is available in English only. The English version is the one that applies.
CodeMorph is built to collect as little as possible. These are the choices you have, and how to exercise each one. For what we collect in the first place, see the privacy policy and data use.

Email updates
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click removes you from that list. You can also email support@codemorph.codes and ask us to remove you from every list.
Waitlists
Joined the macOS, Linux, Pro, Teams or education waitlist and changed your mind? Use the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or ask us to delete the entry.
Contact form messages
Ask us to delete a message you sent, and we will, unless we need to keep it for a legal reason, which we'll tell you about.
If you contacted us about Teams or Enterprise, you're also on our list for team updates. Use the unsubscribe link in any of those emails, or ask us to remove you.
Analytics
Our analytics are cookieless and aggregated, so there's nothing to opt out of on a per-visitor basis and no cookie banner. Browser content blockers that block analytics scripts work normally on this site and don't break anything.
In the CodeMorph app
| Choice | How |
|---|---|
| Telemetry | Already off. It's disabled in the product configuration, so there's nothing to turn off. |
| AI requests | Without an API key, CodeMorph makes no model requests at all. Scan & Plan and Run & Verify are fully local. |
| Which provider sees your code | Choose the provider and account in Settings. A local model through Ollama (coming soon) keeps everything on your machine. |
| Your API key | Replace it any time with CodeMorph: Set API Key. You can also revoke the key in your provider's console. |
| Extension updates | Set extensions.autoUpdate to false to stop automatic update checks to Open VSX. |
| Untrusted folders | Leave a folder in Restricted Mode and the CodeMorph engine won't run there. |
| Local data | Delete %APPDATA%\CodeMorph and %USERPROFILE%\.codemorph to remove all settings, state and extensions. |
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct it if it's wrong.
- Delete it.
- Export it in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict how we use it.
Email support@codemorph.codes from the address the request concerns. We'll respond within one month, and we won't charge you for a reasonable request. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
